My World, My Work

I grew up in a small town in Washington state and majored with a degree in Sociology, communications, and solidarity. With the momentum of knowledge and an itch to create I picked up a camera and began to document the world around me. Not only is film and photography been a way for me to capture the moments I cherish but a way to serve the communities that need my skills in cinematography and editing to shine a light on the struggles of a people. A way through which visuals and voice can facilitate change. A way to amplify the efforts and the sacrifices of those on the ground making it happen.

​Central to who I am is a deep passion for my community and a love for creative pursuits. When I am not holding a camera, you will find me reading a book on social issues, spirituality, or health. I am fascinated and in awe with humanity and what makes us beautiful, what ails us, as well as the wake we leave behind. This is what I seek to emulate through my work.
